Plan A Romantic Evening
- Make dinner and dessert, or order in. The idea is to keep it simple, you want to be focusing on your partner tonight, not a complicated meal. Strawberries dipped in chocolate are an easy dessert to make and fun to feed to each other.
- Set a nice table, use candles, flowers, and flute glasses to set a special mood. Write a poem, make a card, or find some other romantic way to express your feelings and set it on the table for your partner to find. Play some romantic background music, make a cd of your, or your partner’s, favorite love songs.
- After dinner you can go for a walk or sit by the fire and talk, get to know each other by asking questions from “1,000 Questions For Couples,” or maybe play a game such as An Enchanted Evening, and eat your dessert. If there is no fireplace use candles.
- At some point try to find a way to sneak away, run a bubble bath and light some candles in the bathroom and the bedroom. Sprinkle rose petals over the bed and a path from the bedroom and bathroom down the hall.
- Lead your partner to the bath and help them undress and get into the bathtub. You can play a game like “Lovin’ Tub“, and take turns washing each other. Have fun teasing a little here, but don’t go too far yet.
- After the bath wrap them in a towel and lead them to the bedroom for a massage. Then let nature take its course!
